Houd ook in de zomer jouw haar mooi!

Summer is here! We sit on a terrace or lie on the beach. The sunscreen is of course with us, after all we protect our skin well. But what about our hair? The humidity, UV rays and bathing water hopefully don't mean we have to wear our hair in a ponytail until October. 😊
We are here to help you, with a few easy tips, you will get through the summer with beautiful hair!

Hint 1:

Beautiful hair starts with the washes. Get rid of that hot water! Rinse your hair with the coldest water you can handle. Wonderful after a hot summer day. Cold water closes the hair cuticle layer and blocks future humidity that can make hair frizzy.

Hint 2:

Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate!

Start your hair routine with some extra moisture. Use a shampoo and conditioner without sulfates! Sulfates seriously dry out your hair! Make sure you use a good, moisturizing conditioner, such as the oolaboo blushy truffle conditioner , or the bouncy bamboo reconstructor that provides intensive care. Only use conditioner in the ends of your hair.

Tip3:
Preferably avoid heat sources such as a hair dryer. With this beautiful weather, your hair dries very quickly in warm air. For extra hydration and shine, you can use hair oil, the oolaboo blushy truffle sparking oil is perfect for that, but the super foodies matcha infused oil also gives your hair that little bit extra.

Tip 4:

Are you going to sit in the sun? Choose the times well! The sun is brightest between 12:00 and 15:00, so make sure you are not in direct sunlight. It ensures that your hair dries out (extra). Do you still want to be in the sun? Then make sure you cover your hair with a summer hat or bandana.

Tip 5:

Use a hair mask at least 1 to 2 times a week. Try the oolaboo moisty seaweed mask , now in a handy bottle, especially for dry and dehydrated hair. The moisty seadweed instant cure ensures that your hair gets its daily hydration, you use it after washing on towel-dried hair and without rinsing.

Hint 6:
Sun, sea and beach, great to relax, but your colored hair is less happy with it... Blonde hair doesn't just need extra care in the summer... because of the sun and swimming in chlorine or salt water the color fades and the hair often gets an unwanted yellow glow. This is very easy to solve by using blushy truffle brilliant platinum products. The violet / blue color pigments reduce the yellow glow, while the hair is intensively nourished Quinoa and oil from Italian white truffle. As a brunette, use the blushy truffle chocolate shampoo and conditioner to refresh your color.

Hint 7:

Finally, split ends and hair breakage can be a major cause of unwanted frizz. So go to the hairdresser regularly, preferably every 6 to 8 weeks, for a fresh haircut.

Life is too short for a bad hair day!
